FreedomPipe is single business communication solution that bundles a professionally hosted IP Telephone system, local and long distance telephone service and high speed Internet access from a single supplier on a single bill with a single point of contact for service and support.

How much bandwidth do I get with FreedomPipe?
Your dedicated FreedomPipe Account Manager will work with you to determine how much bandwidth is required for your company’s voice and Internet needs. FreedomPipe offers T-1, NxT1 and T-3 access to accommodate your voice and Internet traffic requirements.
What kind of phones and equipment will I need?
FreedomPipe subscribers may utilize their existing Ethernet local area network and analog telephone sets. Users can purchase or lease a variety of IP telephones. Your account manager will work with you to help you select the phones and interface devices for your service requirements.
Can I keep my existing telephone numbers?
Yes. Digitel will manage the process of “porting” your existing telephone numbers to the FreedomPipe network.
If I make an inner-office call, does this use bandwidth on my T1 circuit?
A small amount of signaling bandwidth is used to establish a session between the two extensions. Once a session has been established between the two extensions, no further bandwidth is needed on your T-1.
How does the voice quality of IP Telephony compare?
FreedomPipe is a business class service built on carrier class reliability. FreedomPipe is not a residential service repackaged for business. The quality of IP Telephony is equal to traditional telephone service. Digitel offers service level agreements that assure the quality of our service. Will I need additional software on my computer to use this service?
You do not need a computer or special software to use your phone. However, users may access their phone features through a web interface, FreedomPipe Personal Call Manager, using their current web browser. The web interface allows users to personalize calling features, keep a record of call logs, and access unified messaging and directories without having to remember cumbersome codes.
Will our phones be out of service during setup?
In most cases, there will be very little or no downtime. A short disruption may occur in your phone service during the configuration process to accommodate the porting of your existing telephone numbers. If you are not porting existing numbers, the service can be installed in parallel with your existing telephone system or service. A brief interruption of existing Internet service may be experienced while we install your Access Device.
What is the difference between a Hosted PBX vs. an onsite PBX?
